Amazon Assistant

Amazon Alexa helps you control the oven with your voice so you can do other things while having full control over cooking.

1. Set up Amazon Alexa device

Make sure the Amazon Alexa device is connected and working. If not, follow the instructions provided with the Alexa device. 

2. Connect the oven

Make sure your oven is connected with the “Electrolux Oven” app. You can download the app on Google Play or the Apple Store. Connect the oven and the Alexa app to the same Wi-Fi.

3. Start the Amazon Alexa app

A. Inside the Alexa App, go to the device screen
B. Click on the + Icon in the upper right-hand section of the screen
C. Add your device

4. Connect your account

Select Electrolux in the list and log in to your Electrolux account. (Account for “Electrolux Oven” app)

Controlling the oven remotely

Once the oven is running you can always control the oven using your Amazon Alexa. If the oven isn’t started, remote control most be activated on the oven in order to start the oven using Alexa.

How to activate remote control

Tap the Wi-Fi icon on the control panel to turn on the remote control. *For your safety and in compliance with regulations

Ask your assistant

All commands must begin with "Alexa"

• Set oven to Bake
• Set oven to Convect Bake
• Set oven to Air Fry
• Set oven to Convect Roast
• Set oven to Keep Warm
• Set oven to No Preheat

Automatic Start

Set one of the available modes (Air Fry, Bake, Convect (convection) Bake, Convect Roast, Keep Warm, No Preheat, etc). The oven will automatically set the function and start!

Example: Set oven to Air Fry
Example: Set oven to 350 degrees

*Hint, if you do not have a default temperature for a program, you need to issue 2 separate commands:
- Set mode
- Change temperature

More than one oven?

If you have more than one WiFi oven you need to name them and refer to them as “upper & lower” or “top & bottom” (whatever you like). This is so Alexa knows which oven to start. i.e. “...start upper oven” or “…increase top oven temperature by 10 degrees.”

Also if you have the ovens in different rooms you also need to specify where the oven you would like to control is situated. i.e. “...start the oven in the kitchen” or “... start the oven in the basement.”

Removing your oven from the Amazon Alexa App

To remove the appliance from your Amazon account open the Amazon Alexa app. First select the device you wish to remove, then click settings in the upper right corner, click trash icon on the top right, then press confirm.
